7/22/2014 - Crime Alert Tip 14-014, Theft of Access Card and Conspiracy, Citrus Heights PD

The Citrus Heights PD is seeking the public’s help in identifying these subjects.

Between June 14 and 15, 2014, these suspects entered Lowes in Citrus Heights with a stolen Lowes credit card, which was used to make 3 separate purchases by a series of different suspects.

Suspect #1: White male adult, brown hair with goatee, thin build, wearing white shirt and gray San Francisco baseball cap.

Suspect #2: White female adult, shoulder-length brown and bleached-blond hair, thin build, wearing black tank top.

Suspect #3: White male adult, short graying hair with goatee, husky build, wearing white T-shirt and glasses.

Suspect #4:  White female adult, just-past shoulder-length blond hair, wearing an orange shirt and glasses.

Suspect #5: Hispanic male adult, brown hair and goatee, wearing red “52” 49ers jersey, black shorts, black tennis shoes, and red “W” hat. Left ear is pierced.

Suspect #6: Possibly White or Hispanic male, brown or black hair, wearing white T-shirt and blue jeans.

The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying the individual pictured here.

On June 30, 2014, at about 10:54 AM, a Sacramento Police Department bait car was stolen in the North Sacramento area.  The suspect fled before he could be arrested. 

Suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male adult with long dark hair in a ponytail and with a dark beard.  He was wearing a white tank top.

The California Highway Patrol is looking for the  community’s help in identifying the persons responsible for this crime.

   On June 16, 2014, around midnight, victim DAVID VUE was riding his bicycle traveling westbound on 47th Avenue, west of Franklin Boulevard, in the County of Sacramento.  At that time, he and his bicycle were struck by a passing vehicle.  Following the collision, the suspect vehicle fled the scene.  VUE suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.

   The California Highway Patrol believes the suspect vehicle is a 2013-2014 Nissan Sentra, gray or silver in color, similar to the vehicle pictured here.

5/20/2014 - Crime Alert Tip #14-011, Hit and Run, CHP

The California Highway Patrol is looking for the community’s help in identifying the persons responsible for this crime.

In the overnight hours of May 13, 2014, Nathan CHAMBLESS (pictured here) was walking near the shoulder area of Colony Road, south of Arno Road, when he was struck by a vehicle.  The impact of the collision caused CHAMBLESS to suffer fatal injuries.  The suspect vehicle fled the area and has not yet been located.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating several tips that have been received, but is seeking further information regarding the collision or any recent contacts with victim CHAMBLESS.  Damage to the vehicle is unknown, but would be on the front bumper, hood, and windshield area of the vehicle.

5/6/2014 - Crime Alert Tip #14-010, Fatal Hit and Run, CHP

The California Highway Patrol is looking to the public for assistance with this investigation.     

On December 15, 2013, in the early evening hours, a white SUV was traveling eastbound on Fruitridge Road, east of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  The white SUV struck and killed a pedestrian in the right-hand lane.  The suspect vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid or reporting the collision to the California Highway Patrol.

4/29/2014 - Crime Alert Tip #14-009, Burglary, CHPD

The Citrus Heights Police Department is looking for the community’s help in identifying the subject in the attached photo.

On March 27, 2014, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 9:20 AM, the victim left a vehicle parked and locked in the parking lot of 24-Hour Fitness, 6633 Auburn Boulevard, Citrus Heights.  An unknown suspect broke the rear vehicle window and grabbed the victim’s purse, without permission.

On the same date at about 9:20 AM, the victim’s SAMS Club membership card and credit card were used at SAMS Club to purchase a laptop.

The suspect who purchased the laptop appears to be a tall, thin, White male wearing a black and blue baseball hat.

4/15/2014 - Crime Alert Tip 14-008, Robbery, Walgreen`s CHPD

On March 25, 2014 at about 04:04 AM, the suspect entered the Walgreen`s on Greenback Lane and Dewey Drive and robbed the employee working the cash register of cash and several packs of cigarettes.  The suspect used an unknown type of handgun and knife to commit the crime.


He is described as a white male , 25 to 30 years old, 5`8`, medium build, wearing a gray-colored hoodie pullover, blue jeans and black shoes.  The suspect covered his face with a black colored cloth, possible a bandana, and appeared to be wearing colored latex or cloth gloves.

4/1/2014 - Crime Alert Tip 14-007, Scams Targeting Elderly Victims, CHPD

The Citrus Heights Police Department is looking for the community’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for these crimes.

In two cases, elderly victims shopping in strip malls were contacted by 2 suspects who told the victims the suspects had just received hundreds of thousands of dollars. Suspects convinced victims to drive to nearby banks and withdraw funds from their personal accounts. In both incidents, suspects stole victim’s vehicle while victim was inside the bank.   The vehicles have since been recovered.

   Suspect #1:  Female pictured, average build.
   Two other Suspects are Black male adults in their 30s and 40s, average builds, with dark hair.  

Citrus Heights PD wishes to warn our community about this current scam in order to mitigate the chance of this occurring in our city.  If you are approached in a similar manner, do not follow the suspect’s instructions.  It is important to understand this is a scam and to notify law enforcement right away.

The Elk Grove Police Department is looking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect in the attached photo.

The suspect pictured here used a reported stolen credit card to make unauthorized purchases at various businesses.  The attached photo was taken at Safeway after the unknown suspect made a purchase.

The suspect is described as a Black female adult, 40 to 50 years of age, possibly 5’ 06” tall and about 180 pounds.

The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect in the attached photos. 

On three separate occasions, the suspect targeted jewelry stores inside Arden Fair Mall.  He would ask to see expensive diamond rings and then flee with the merchandise, running out of the mall.

The suspect is described as a Black male adult in his late 20’s, approximately 5’ 10” to 6” tall, with a thin build.  He has tattoos on his hands and neck.

2/4/2014 - Crime Alert Tip #14-004, Petty Theft & Fradulent Credit Card, EGPD

The Elk Grove Police Department is looking community’s help in identifying the suspects in the attached photos.

 On Jan. 11, 2014, a shopper left her purse in a shopping cart at Bel Air on Elk Grove Florin Road, and while distracted by Suspect 1, Suspect 2 removed her wallet from the purse.  Both suspects immediately went to Wal-Mart on Florin Road and K Mart on Stockton Blvd., where several purchases were made.  

Suspect #1 is a Black female adult, 40’s to 50’s, heavyset, black cornrow hair that may have gray or blond highlights, clear glasses, and multi-colored purse.  She was wearing a red jacket and red knee-length pants.

 Suspect #2 is a Black female adult, 30’s to 40’s, large build, wearing a black baseball or Castro hat, black jacket, and dark blue jeans.  She was driving a newer white or silver four-door sedan, possibly a Dodge Avenger or similar.

1/21/2014 - Crime Alert Tip #14-002, Robbery, SPD

The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the community’s help in identifying the subjects in the attached photos.

Two suspects committed an armed takeover-style robbery of a pharmacy located in the South area of Sacramento.  The suspects fled the scene in an older blue Toyota, possibly a Corolla.

The Sacramento Police Department is looking   looking for for the community’s help in identifying the suspect in the attached sketches.

On December 25, 2013, at approximately 9:44 PM, a group of juveniles was shot at by this suspect and another Black male adult in the 7400 block of 29th St.  Three juveniles victims were hit.  One victim died of a head wound and two other victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Both suspects fled on foot southbound on 29th St. after the shooting.

Suspect #1 (shooter, pictured): Black male adult,17-18 years old, 5’ 07” to 5’ 08”, 140 to 160 pounds, short dreads, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect #2: Black male adult in his 20s, 5’ 10”, 160 pounds, short afro, wearing a red shooded sweatshirt.

1/7/2014 - Crime Alert Tip #14-001, Commercial Burglaries, SPD
Multiple Radioshacks in the greater Sacramento area have been the victims of business burglaries.  Suspects are unknown at this time.  Suspects are hitting the stores in the early morning hours and are taking high-end electronics from the warehouse area.

The Sacramento Police Vehicle Theft Unit is looking for the community’s help in identifying the subject in the attached photo.

On December 7, 2013, at approximately 0725 hrs., the suspect seen in the photo jumped into a heating and air conditioning van left running in the 2700 block of Northglen Street and took off.  
The van was later located.
