10/26/2009 - Crime Alert Tip #09-030, 459 PC Unsolved Burglary

The Citrus Heights Police Department is currently seeking any information that may lead to the identity of the person(s) responsible for the buglary featured below.

10-18-09 a large quantity of Antique Russian Gold Coins (Rubles) were stolen. The coins are dated from 1860 to 1902 and have the image of Czar Nicholas II on the front and the denomination and mint date on the back. Some of the coins were stacked in clear plastic containers, and others were in books with coin sleeves. The coins are in the following denominations;

120 Five Ruble gold coins
  80 Ten Ruple gold coins
    5  Fifteen Ruple gold coins
    5  7 1/2 Ruple gold coins

10/12/2009 - Crime Alert Tip # 09-029, Armed Robbery, from Citrus Heights PD

09-30-09, 2030 hrs. The suspect entered the Valero Gas Station at 8244 Auburn Blvd. He pulled a black, large frame pistol from his waistband and demanded money. No money was taken as the clerk refused to follow the suspect`s orders. The suspect laughed and stated, "Just kidding".

10-01-09, 1230 hrs. The same suspect entered the Harmony Day Spa and Massage parlor at 6039 Greenback Lane. Suspect again pulled a black, large framed pistol from his waistband and demanded money. Suspect reached into the cash drawer and took the cash and threatened to kill the clerk.

Suspect is described as a MW, 50-60, 6`-0 to 6`-2", red ball cap, blue jacket and a white long sleeved shirt under the jacket.

In both cases the suspect was seen on video leaving in a blue Mitsubishi 2/D with tinted windows and a spoiler on the rear trunk.  


10/12/2009 - Crime Alert Tip #09-028, 211 PC, Bank Robbery, SPD

09-21-09, 1034 hrs. The suspect entered the Citibank on Alhambra Blvd. He approached the teler and showed a demand note. Suspect prdered the teller. "Don`t make a noise". After getting the money the suspect fled on foot east bound on Granada past the fire station. 

The suspect is described as a: Male Black, 20`3 to 30`s, heavy set, wearing a dark shirt, sweat pants, t-shirt wrapped around his head, and dark Pumas sneakers with a white stripe. Suspect was also holding a red or pink cloth up to cover his face.      


10/12/2009 - Crime Aler Tip # 09-027, Homicide SPD

The Sacramento Police Department Homicide Detectives are looking for the Community`s help for any information leading to the identity of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Dominic CAMPOS.

09-30-09 approx. 0701 hrs. The Sacramento Police Department received a call to respond to the 2900 Florin Road, (Jiffy Lube) on a report of an unresponsive male, lying in a planter box. A 21 year old male victim was killed during the incident. Sacramento Homicide Detectives believe the suspect(s) in the murder may possibly live in the area.

9/22/2009 - Crime Alert Tip 09-025, Hit & Run Fatal, CHP N. Sac

On September 13, 2009 at approximately 0445 hours, CHP Sacramento Communications Center received a 911 call of a body lying in the roadway on Marysville Boulevard north of E Street.  Upon arrival emergency crews discovered a deceased female lying in the roadway in the southbound lanes of Marysville Boulevard.   A preliminary investigation suggests that the victim was struck by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.  The victim has been identified as Hamaseu F. Siatunuu.  She is a 30 year old from Sacramento.

9/22/2009 - Crime Alert Tip #09-026, Cold Case, Missing Persons - Fowl Play

On May 25, 1996, Kristin Denise Smart was a freshman student at California Polytechnic State University near San Luis Obispo, California, and was 19 years of age. She was last seen just before 2:00 a.m. walking to her dorm room with Paul Flores, a 20 year old male student who reportedly had just met Kristin at an off-campus party a few blocks away. Both had reportedly been drinking alcohol. Flores has said that he separated from Kristin near his dorm room, and reported that she walked the short distance to her dorm room alone. Kristin did not return to her room and has not contacted family or friends since that time. She did not have identification, money or extra clothing when she disappeared. A reward of $75,000 is being offered for information regarding the whereabouts of Kristin or which leads to the criminal prosecution of any person involved in her disappearance. 9/14/2009 - Crime Alert Tip # 09-024, Assault with a deadly weapon, 245 (A) (2) PC

The Sacramento Police Department Felony Assaults Unit is currently seeking any information that would help identify the suject in the attached photo.

On 07-09-09 Suspect #1 had been visiting on Serio Way,where he got into an altercation with the residents regarding Mexican music being played. He made statements referring to being a "Northerner" and "Oak Park." He left and returned on 07-10-09 with 2-3 other Hispanic males to fight the residents. A person who attempted to break up the fight was shot in the lower leg by suspect #1, who had a 45 cal handgun. Suspect #1 fled in a 1990 to 1993 white or gold Honda Accord  4-door with stock rims and tinted windows, driven by suspect #2.

Suspect #1 is described as: Male Hispanic in his 20`s, 5`-8" tyall, 210 lb. stocky builf possible tattoo in on right wrist, wearing a white baggy T shirt and black pants.

Suspect #2 is described as : Male Hispanic, 28-29 years old, heavyset, 5`-5" tall, 200 pounds, with short black hair. 

Suspect #1 shoud be considered armed and dangerous.      


8/10/2009 - Crime Alert Tip # 09-023, Armed Robbery, 211 PC

8/10/2009 - Crime Alert Tip #09-022, Business Burglary 459 PC

The Sacramento Police Department is currently seeking any information that may lead to the identity(s) of the suspects that burglarized Neff Rentals, 8700 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, on 05-21-09 at around 2:30 AM. The suspects arrived in a possible Plymouth Voyager van (minivan series), white with gray trim on the base of the van, tinted windows, after market chrome rims with black centers, (see attached photo) and burglarized the business.

7/21/2009 - Crime Alert Tip # 09-021, Unknown 487 (a) PC, Grand Theft Suspect

The Citrus Heights Police Department is seeking any information that would lead to the identity of the person in the attached photo. on 06-13-09, 1:24 P.M. this suspect entered the Les Schwab Tire Store on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights. While in the store the suspect stole cash from the cash drawer of the business.

The suspect is described as a Black male adult (see photo) wearing a black T-shirt with an unknown logo under a gray and white striped long sleeve hooded jacket and black pants.

6/23/2009 - Crime Alert Tip 09-018, 211 PC Armed Robbery

South Area Armed Robbery

The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the community’s help to identify a robbery suspect.

On Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 10:12 p.m., the suspect entered the Lichines Liquor and Deli, located at 7107 South Land Park Dr, waving a gun and demanding money. The suspect took cash and merchandise from the business.

Witnesses saw him flee the scene in the passenger’s side of an older purple minivan. The suspect was a Hispanic male adult, unknown age, 6’1, 160 pounds. He was wearing a very distinctive torn, grey hooded sweat shirt with a black scarf covering his face, dark jeans and black shoes with white trim. He was armed with a handgun.


6/23/2009 - Crime Alert Tip 09-020, 187 PC Homicide

Vehicle was recovered and was burned. Suspects have since been identified and arrested. 

The Sacramento Police Homicide Unit is asking for the public`s help in providing any information that may lead to the identity of the person (S) who is/are responsible for the crime listed below.

On 06-23-09 at approx. 1328 hrs, the Sacramento Fire Department responded to 7489 Carella Drive, Sacramento for a structure fire. Upon entry of the residence, fire personnel located a murder victim. The victim’s vehicle was a 2004 Honda Element, sunset orange in color was taken from the residence.

 

At approximately 0100 hrs, the vehicle was found burning at 67th Av / Tamoshanter Wy.

 


6/16/2009 - Crime Alert Tip # 09-016, Hit & Run from CHP North Sac

On May 28, 2009, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Christian Reinheimer, a 38 year old from Sacramento was riding his orange Trek mountain bike on westbound Arden Way just west of Mendota Way in the right lane.  Reinheimer was riding his bicycle at approximately 25 mph and was positioned to the far right of the lane.  A vehicle described as silver or light colored mini-van was traveling westbound on Arden Way approaching the rear of Reinheimer.  The mini-van struck Reinheimer which caused him to be ejected from his bicycle and thrown onto the hood and into the windshield of the mini-van.  The driver of the mini-van fled the scene immediately following the collision.  Reinheimer was transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Hospital where he sustained major injuries including a collapsed lung.       

The driver of the silver or light colored mini-van was described as an older person in their 50’s or 60’s with light colored or gray hair and light skin.  The vehicle should have right front hood damage and a broken windshield.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF CRIME:

 

In 2005, Robert Newberry was found shot to death in his residence in Citrus Heights, CA.  Evidence found on scene tends to indicate that Newberry was killed with a medium caliber handgun, possibly by a person that he knew.
