Unsolved Crimes
| 1/31/2012 - Crime Alert Tip 12-005, Armed Robbery, SSD | The Sacramento Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in these photos.
Starting in November of 2011, there have been numerous robberies committed at liquor stores in the Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Rio Linda, and Rancho Cordova areas of Sacramento. Two or three suspects enter the store, display handguns, and take the money.
The suspects are described as white or Hispanic, late teens or early 20’s in age, with average heights and builds.

On December 31, 2011, and January 22, 2012, the residence at 2701 Grove Avenue was the victim of arson attacks while the family was at home. The fire resulted in significant damage to the structure and injury to the resident.

| | 1/24/2012 - Crime Alert Tip #12-004, Battery, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects and witness in these photos. On May 21, 2011, at 7:43 PM, a felony battery occurred at 3946 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The suspects physically assaulted the male victim. The suspects were driving the white vehicle pictured here.
Suspect #1 is described as a Black male adult, medium build, with short black hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black shoes.
Suspect #2 is described as a Black male adult, heavy set, with short black hair, wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts, and white/red shoes.
Suspect #3 is a light-skinned Black male adult with medium build, with thick dreadlocks/braids and wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants.
The witness is described as a light-skinned Black male adult with shaved/bald hear, wearing glasses, a white T-shirt, dark shorts, and black shoes.

| | 1/10/2012 - Crime Alert Tip #12-002, Identity Theft, CHPD | SUBJECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED
The Citrus Heights Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this photo.
The suspect has been using the stolen identification of Lili Sorman of San Diego to open accounts at Macy’s, Penney’s, Sears, Kay Jewelers, and obtain cell phones at Sunrise Mall, Arden Fair Mall, and other Northern California shopping centers. Loss is between $8,000 to $10,000 at this time.
The suspect is described as a Black female adult, approximately 30 years old, over 6 feet tall, approximately 250 pounds, with a very large build.

The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in these photos.
In the month of October, 2011, these three female suspects were responsible for a residential burglary in the City of Sacramento.
The suspects are female Hispanics in their late teens to early 20’s.

The Citrus Heights Police Department is currently seeking the communities help in identifying the responsible listed below.
On 12-29-11 the suspect, shown in the photos above, entered a Roseville Rite Aide and stole a bottle of Vodka. He left in a stolen vehilce. The suspect is described as: MW, 25-40, 6`00, thin build, long brown hair in a pony tail, thick sideburns and a thick goatee, wearing a dark short sleeve shirt and dark pants.
Suspect left in a 1981 white Toyota Station wagon, CA Lic 5KJF581.
This suspect maybe involved in other crimes in the Citrus Heights area.

| | 12/20/2011 - Crime Alert Tip #11-032, Homicide, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in Identifying the suspects responsible for this crime.
On 11-13-2011, victim Vantheoun Som and his friends were walking near Capitol Street Garage at 1500 K Street when they encountered the suspects. A fight ensued, and suspect #1 stabbed the victim and two additional victims. Som died as a result of his injuries. The suspects were caught on video earlier inside the 3 Fires Lounge next to the garage and also on video from the garage. Suspect #1 may have been with an Asian female inside the bar.
Suspect #1 is a light-skinned Black male, possibly part Hispanic, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’ 11” to 6’ tall, heavyset, wearing a striped shirt. He has large teeth, a goatee, and short corn-rows style hair.
Suspect #2 is a Black male adult, darker skin, 6’ 01” to 6’ 02” tall, wearing a light-colored shirt, red baseball cap, and had short hair.

| | 12/13/2011 - Crime Alert Tip #11-031, Felony Vandalism, CHP | The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for these crimes.
On 09-29-2011, the door of an office located in the office complex at 1344 Coloma Road in Gold River was kicked in and severely damaged. No entry was made into the office space.
The attached photos are of two suspects in separate incidents that occurred in the same office complex.

On August 26, 2011, the suspect committed an armed robbery at the Subway Restaurant located at 3645 Northgate Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a Black male adult, possibly in his early 20’s. He has a thin mustache. He has an athletic build and is about 5’ 10 tall, weighing about 190 pounds. He wore oversized sunglasses and a black beanie with a small brim. He also wore a black T-shirt with black button-up shirt or jacket over it, baggie blue jeans, and distinctive black and white shoes.

| | 10/11/2011 - Crime Alert Tip 07-034, UNKNOWN, 187 P.C. Murder | AS OF JAN 19, 2012, ALL THREE SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AND ARRESTED.
Description of suspects in the shooting death of Sean Aquitania, Sr., his seven-month-old son on September 14, 2007, at 8456 Country Greens Court.
Suspect #1: Black male adult, mid to late 20`s, 5`10" to 6`2", slender to stocky build, wearing a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt, head not covered by hood, a baseball hat possibly red and black, a multi-colored bandana covering the lower power of his face, armed with a chrome-colored handgun.
Suspect #2: Light-skinned male, possibly Hispanic or White, mid to late 20`s, 5`9" to 6`2", 180-200 pounds, clean-shaven or with a possible light mustache, wearing a baseball cap with the letter "A" on the front, a white pullover shirt with green sleeves with the word "Athletics" on the front, blue jeans and possibly brown boots. He was armed with a black-colored handgun.

| | 10/4/2011 - Crime Alert Tip #11-028, Attempted Murder, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for the above crime.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, 8-23-11, the victims visited an establishment along the 2800 block of Franklin Blvd. When the victims went back to their vehicle, they noticed they were parked next to a 2006-2007 four-door white Chevy Malibu or similar model with tinted windows (suspect vehicle) occupied by 4-5 subjects. The victims backed out of their parking stall and drove away. Down the road, the victims noticed the same Chevy Malibu was honking while speeding up to them. The suspects caught up to the victims at an intersection on Franklin Blvd near Fruitridge Rd. One of the occupants of the Chevy Malibu began yelling at the victims. A short time later, another occupant produced a gun and shot one of the victims while they were seated in their vehicle. The victim was taken to a fire station and later transported to the hospital where he is expected to survive from very serious injuries.
#1 (Driver) is described as a Black male adult, 18-25 years old, medium-dark complexion, slender/athletic build, puffy lips, short black hair, clean shaven with tattoos on left arm, wearing a white or light blue t-shirt. (See composite sketch above.)
#2 (Passenger) is described as a Black male adult, 18-25 years old, medium-dark complexion, slender/athletic build, slender face with prominent cheek bones, short hair.

| | 9/20/2011 - Crime Alert Tip #11-027, Graffiti, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the community’s help in identifying and suspect wanted for graffiti and vandalism.
The suspect is known C-Boy and is described as a male Caucasian or Hispanic, dark hair, dark eyes, goatee, mustache, early to middle 20’s years of age. He has vandalized approximately 90 public and private properties causing thousands of dollars in damages.

| | 9/20/2011 - Crime Alert Tip # 11-025, EGPD, Robbery | The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a gas station robbery.
On September 12, 2011 at 3:25 a.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to an armed robbery that had just taken place at the Chevron gas station (8995 Grant Line Rd). An unidentified suspect entered the gas station, selected a soda and approached the clerk at the register to pay for the merchandise. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect removed a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the employee. The suspect demanded money and threatened the clerk. The clerk feared for his safety and gave the armed suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen in the parking lot of the business.
The suspect was described as an Asian male adult, twenty-five to thirty (25-30) years of age,five feet six inches tall (5’6”) with a thin build. He was wearing a blue Yankees baseball cap, a dark colored jacket and blue jeans. He has long shoulder length dark hair with a thin mustache.

| | 9/20/2011 - Crime Alert Tip #11-026, bank robbery, EGPD | The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a bank robbery.
On September 12, 2011 at 10:26 a.m., two suspects entered the California Credit Union (4801 Laguna Blvd. Suite 101) and vaulted over the front counter. The suspects ordered the employee to the ground and immediately began removing money from the cash drawers. The suspects then ordered the employee to a rear office where the safe was located. The suspects proceeded to remove an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from inside the safe. Both suspects then exited the credit union and were last seen walking into the parking lot.
The first suspect was described as an African-American male adult, 25-30 years of age, 5’6”with a stocky build. He was wearing black sunglasses and a camouflage military uniform. The second suspect was described as an African-American male adult, 25-30 years of age, 6’0” with a thin build. He was also wearing black sunglasses and a camouflage military uniform. No weapons were displayed or observed during the robbery.

| | 9/6/2011 - Crime Alert Tip 11-024, Burglary, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for the above crime.
On 08-24-2011, victim reported his house on Blackridge Avenue had been broken into and several items taken. Victim said he returned home from running errands. He opened the garage door and saw the suspect inside the garage, near the interior door. Victim asked the suspect what he wanted. The suspect said he must have been in the wrong neighborhood and then left, walking toward a gold KIA SUV, which was parked in front of the victim’s house. The victim entered the house and saw that a pillowcase was missing from his bed, and several other items were missing. He discovered the bathroom window had been pried open and the screen removed.
The suspect is described as a White male adult in his 20’s, medium build, with shoulder-length light brown or blond dreadlocks, and acne on his face.
