4/26/2016 - Crime Alert Tip #16-010, Burglary SSD

The Sacramento Sheriff’s Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for this crime. 

On February 28, 2016, the suspect opened the door at Farrell’s Ice Cream on Watt Avenue in Sacramento with a key.  He then opened the safe and removed approximately $1,700 in cash.  The suspect fled the business in a light-colored Chevrolet Tahoe GMC Yukon with an unknown place.

The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male in his 20’s, about 6’ tall, weighing 180 pounds.

The Citrus Heights Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify the   persons responsible for this crime.

On April 11, 2016, at 9:39 PM, the victim reported unidentified suspects gained entry into her locked vehicle and removed her purse, wallet, and other items from underneath the driver’s side seat while she was working out inside the 24 Hour Fitness, 6633 Auburn Boulevard.  Suspects then traveled to the 7-11 on Auburn Boulevard and Walmart on Antelope Road and used the victim’s stolen credit cards.

Suspect #1:  Black male adult, 18 – 22 years of age, 5’ 07” to 5’ 08” tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds. He had bleached blonde hair (curly/wiry) with dark brown roots and was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with white drawstring, baggy red jeans with white belt, and white sneakers.

Suspect #2:  Black male adult, 18 – 22 years of age, 5’ 08” to 5’ 09” tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds.  He had a shaved afro and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white drawstring, baggy blue jeans held up by a brown leather belt, and white sneakers.

The California Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses and/or information regarding a  Hit and Run collision.

On April 9, 2016, at approximately 10:06 PM, a pedestrian crossing the street at the intersection of 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard was struck and killed by a passing motorist traveling eastbound on 47th Avenue.  Following the collision, the vehicle, described as a silver sedan, fled the scene eastbound on 47th Avenue.

3/24/2016 - Crime Alert Tip #16-007,Homicide, SSD Case

VICTIM DIES IN NORTH HIGHLANDS SHOOTING

The 25 year old victim of the March 23rd shooting has succumbed to his injuries and died at a local hospital.

A little after 2:00 p.m. on March 23, 2016, the Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call regarding shots fired in the 4000 block of Renick Way in North Highlands.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene. They located the 25 year old male in the driveway of a residence suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Deputies immediately began life saving measures. Sacramento Metro Fire responded and transported the victim to the hospital.

Witnesses observed the suspect walk up to the victim and shoot him. He was only described as a black male adult. The suspect fled on foot towards Harrison Street. It is unknown whether he entered a vehicle. The motive of the shooting is still unknown at this time.

The identity of the victim in this case will be made available by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office, after notification has been made to his next of kin.

3/22/2016 - Crime Alert Tip #16-006 Armed Kidnapping SPD Case 16-74817

The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify the person responsible for this crime.

On March 16, 2015, at about 7:21 AM, Sacramento Police officers responded to the area of 45th and M Streets in the East area of Sacramento regarding an attempted kidnapping.  The juvenile female victim was walking east on M St. approaching 45th St. when she was approached by a man in a dark-colored sedan.  The male attempted to pull the victim into a vehicle.  He was armed with a dark semi-automatic handgun. 

The suspect is described as a light-skinned mixed-race male (Black/Asian) adult in his 20’s with acne scars on his face, 5’ 06” tall, thin build.  He was wearing a burgundy hoodie and dark gray beanie.  The suspect fled west on M St.

After reviewing video surveillance, investigators believe the vehicle is a 1999-2007 Volkswagen Jetta.  The picture is the actual suspect vehicle.

SUSPECT IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS

On December 5, 2014, at about 08:00AM, victim Robert "Tito" Santos was murdered in his home located at 1455 68th Avenue in Sacramento by an unknown assailant.

SUSPECT ARRESTED

The Elk Grove Police Department is currently seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured in this surveillance photo related to an active armed robbery investigation.
      
The suspect entered Wal-Mart and made his way to a cash room located inside the store.  The suspect was able to gain access into the cash room, then confronted an employee who was inside.  The suspect brandished a handgun at the employee and demanded money.  Fearing for his safety, the employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.  The suspect fled the office, then exited the store and fled on foot.

The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the public`s help to identify the suspect pictured here.

On 12/24/15 The suspect forced open the front door on the Laundry Land (coin operated washer/dryer) at 1500 El CAmino Avenue, #12. Once inside the suspect cut off the locks toa built-in change machine, pried open the change box and removed the contents (quarters).

SUSPECT: Male White 35-55 lighter colored hair, receding hair line, dark jacket and shirt, possibly denim or lighter colored pants. Maybe carring an unkown type bag to hold and hid his tools.

The Citrus Heights Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify the suspects pictured here.

On 01/05/2016 the victim had her wallet/credit cards stolen while in Costco, 7000 Auburn Boulevard, Citrus Heights.  The unknown suspect then traveled to several stores and used the victim’s stolen credit cards to conduct $15,040.38 in unauthorized/fraudulent transactions; $10,982.82 of the unauthorized/fraudulent transactions occurred at three different Targets.

Suspect #1:  White female, approximately 45-55 years old, wearing a green knee length coat, black pants, brown boots, and she was carrying a maroon purse. 

Suspect #2:  White female adult, approximately 25-30 years old, black jacket with fur collar, black pants, and black boots with fur top.

The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects wanted for this crime.  

On December 19, 2015, at approximately 7:30 PM, a blue-colored 2002-2003  2-door Toyota Solara ran the red light and struck a 17-year-old female pedestrian at the corner of eastbound Fruitridge Road and Vista Avenue in Sacramento.  Following the collision, witnesses observed the Toyota speed away eastbound on Fruitridge Road toward Stockton Boulevard.  The pedestrian was seriously injured. 

The vehicle pictured above is similar to the vehicle involved in this incident.

The Sacramento Police Department asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect wanted for this crime.

On Sunday, November 22, 2015, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a male suspect (pictured below) made a derogatory statement to the victim regarding his sexual orientation.  The suspect punched the victim in the face causing a non-life threatening injury.  After the assault, the suspect fled the area on foot.

 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or African American male adult, with a shaved head, and a goatee.  He was last seen wearing glasses, a black colored shirt with white stripes and dark pants.  He is approximately 5’5” to 5’7” in height.

On December 11, 2015, at about 4:55 AM, suspects forced entry into Berelian Fine Jewelers on Bruceville Road by breaking the glass door to the neighboring unit, which allowed access to the shared interior wall.  They used a sledge hammer and chisel to break through the wall of the unit and gain entry.  Once inside, the suspects broke the glass of the display cases and took all of the jewelry. 

Suspect 1 is a Black male adult, possibly in his 50’s, 5’ 08” to 5’ 10”, with an average build.  He wore a black hat, black leather jacket with a fur hood, black pants, and black shoes.

Suspect 2 is a Black male adult, with an average build.  He wore a red hat, black and white mask, black hooded jacket, and white shoes.

The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects wanted for this crime.  

On December 3, 2015, at 6:34 PM, two suspects entered the Walgreens at 3521 Del Paso Boulevard and robbed the pharmacy of a large quantity of prescription medication.  Surveillance cameras captured photos of the suspects as they entered the store.

The El Dorado Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for this crime.

On November 13, 2015, at about 6:00 PM, the suspect entered El Dorado Savings Bank and handed a note to the teller stating, “I have a gun give me all your money.”  The suspect reached for an unknown object in his waistband and proceeded to grab money from the teller’s cash drawer.  He then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a White male approximately 25-28 years old, 5’ 08” to 6’ tall, very thin build.  He had light brown or blonde curly hair and unknown eye color.  He wore a gray or blue knitted hat and scarf, dark-colored heavy winter jacket with white piping around the shoulders and waist area, blue jeans and black tennis shoes with white writing on the sides.  He had a mole on his right cheek underneath his eye, and witness stated the suspect had a distinct smell about him.
