 Crime Alert Tips were responsible for:

• The locations and arrests of three parolees and one suspect wanted for domestic violence.  In one arrest, a K-9 located the parolee in the attic, and in another, drugs worth $2,500 were found and seized.

JANUARY, 2013

Crime Alert Tips were responsible for:

• The locations of three parolees.  Additional charges were placed against one of them by the Sheriff's Department.
• The location of a suspect wanted for attempted murder.
• The location of a suspect involved in a possible murder.

DECEMBER, 2012

Crime Alert Tips were responsible for:

• The arrest of an individual wanted for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon
• The locations of two parolees

Crime Alert Tips were responsible for:

• The location of a parolee  Two parolees were arrested at the location and methamphetamines were recovered
• The arrest of a parolee
• The identities and vehicle used by two people wanted for using counterfeit identification and checks
• The identity of a woman wanted for fraud
• The identity of a person wanted for a series of burglaries.  The tip resulted in the arrest of three people
• The identity of a person wanted for robbery

SEPTEMBER, 2012

• The arrest of a Homicide Suspect for the Sacramento Police Department
• The location and arrest of a rapist wanted for raping a 15 year old female
• A subject wanted for assault with a deadly weapon for the Elk Grove PD
• The arrest of a known drug dealer and recovery of a hand gun by the Sacramento Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force
• The arrests or 4 people on felony charges in drug sales and the recovery or 3 guns
•  The location and arrest of a parolee at large

AUGUST, 2012

Crime Alert Tips were responsible for:

• Following a homicide on Traction Avenue in Del Paso Heights, Detectives circulated a flier asking for help in identifying the suspect.  Crime Alert received a tip identifying the suspect by his street name, which led to his arrest.
• A 2011 DNA search identified a suspect wanted for a 2007 rape of a minor.  Crime Alert received a tip about the suspect’s location and vehicle.  He was caught after a foot pursuit and just prior to a K-9 being deployed.
• Two addresses for a suspect wanted for Threats to commit Great Bodily Harm.  He was arrested at one of the locations.
• The identification of a major drug dealer who was transporting drugs out of state.  Following his arrest, it was discovered he had installed surveillance cameras, booby-trapped the area, and had a loaded handgun.
• The specific location of drug dealers in the area of Howe and Hurley Avenues.  Five people were arrested.  Methamphetamine, cocaine, and three weapons were recovered.
• The location of two parolees dealing drugs in midtown Sacramento.  Both were located and arrested.
